In the little hamelet of La Martellière just outside of Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Sylvain’s family is among the historical producer of the appellation. It all started with Sylvain’s gran father.

The 22 hectares of vineyard are exclusively planted with Cabernet Franc. One third of the surface is located on the highest part of the appellation: the gentle, South facing slope, is protected on the North by a thick forest. The majority of the vines seats on a sandy soil with some gravel and limestone. This brings fruit, freshness and purity to the wines. Valérie and Sylavin have decided to conduct the vineyard organically since 2016. Indeginious yeast are used.
